About Us

Get to Know Blue

Blue Claw Co. has been crafting quality goods in the United States since 2010. We have searched high and low to find the finest materials available, from the best tanneries and mills in the world. We are constantly tweaking our designs and overhauling styles, striving to provide our customers with the most accessible, highest quality bags and accessories, anywhere in the market.

The catalyst for Blue Claw came from a trip across Argentina. While traveling through rugged terrain, both rural and urban, the value of well crafted, high-quality, aesthetically stylish luggage became apparent.

Upon returning to the Eastern Shore of Maryland (home of the Blue Claw Crab), we developed our first bag, The Worton Weekender. Our goal was to find the perfect dichotomy between durability and elegance. It became the ideal companion for weekend jaunts — whether to the beach house, or the cabin. Keeping that mantra top of mind, we have fashioned a variety of distinct bags that are all stylish, sturdy, confident and professional.

Unsurpassed Quality

We believe that investing in quality luggage is a rite of passage. Wearing bold colors and utilizing quality materials, Blue Claw Co. is as resistant to blending-in as it is to wearing-down. Each new addition that is brought to market is thoughtfully sampled and tested to ensure that it truly abides by these two principles— unsurpassed durability and everlasting style. In the pursuit of uncompromising quality, each item is handmade by an American craftsman, giving each bag its own story to tell.

The Blue Claw line is the perfect accouterment for the young, on-the-go professional and each bag exemplifies durability and elegance. Thoughtfully designed, they are constructed to last a lifetime. We use the strongest YKK zippers, thick full-grain leather, and the sturdiest of fabrics (waxed cotton and ballistic nylon). All bags are sensibly designed to fit in overhead airline bins.

All of our bags and accessories are designed at our workshop in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our designers and craftsmen pride themselves on designing bags and accessories that are just as functional, as they are stylish.
